INTRO:Â SPIRITUALLY FITÂ | TODAY
In this episode of Spiritually Fit Today, Arnie Cole and guest Dr. Rob Rhodes discuss the hidden impact of worry and anxiety on our physical and spiritual health. Drawing from Philippians 4:6-7, they explore practical ways to address anxiety, the mind-body connection, and the importance of prayer, support, and holistic well-being for overcoming worry.
STEP 1 - RECEIVE
(Receive God's Word and Grow in Bible Knowledge)
As Paul draws his letter to the Colossians to a close he leaves us with some advice on dealing with unbelievers. He reminds us that we are always on display for Christ. And as he sends his greetings, we get a glimpse at how the early church fellowshipped with one another.
STEP 2 - REFLECT
(How does this Scripture Apply to your life?)
On any given day, many of us will be required to give some feedback. Whether your kids want you to evaluate their new work of "art," or a coworker wants some feedback on a project. As a fitness coach, Mark knows how powerful his words can be, and he's here today to share some Scripture that helps him when he needs to speak up.
STEP 3 - RESPOND
(How will you Win Today?)
Have you ever considered that every time you speak, you can bring life and encouragement to someone? Coach Donna Amidon helps you weigh your words and be a voice of life and spiritual healing to others.
Think of at least one person you know and intentionally encourage them with your words today. Call them on the phone, send a text, write a card. Be that voice of life and healing in their life today!
STEP 4 - REVEAL
(How will you reveal Jesus to others today through praying and sharing?)
We've all be uniquely and wonderfully made. Sean leads our prayer time today reminding us that God's gifts are for us to use. Join us as we pray for opportunities to serve.
