ALASKA is the only state whose name is on one row of a keyboard. Hmm, nice to know, but how helpful is it? We can ask the same about gaining Bible knowledge for the sake of Bible knowledge. However, when you reflect on that knowledge and respond to it, you will see change! "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." Romans 12:2
Our sample workout for today starts with a look at 1 Timothy and Paul's encouraging words to a young pastor, then Brenda will share some wisdom she learned when going through a divorce. Coach Sherri will remind us that our Savior is well acquainted with all our griefs, and then Janette will lead our prayer time today praising God for hearing our needs.👇
STEP 1 - RECEIVE
(Receive God's Word and Grow in Bible Knowledge)
While most of Paul's letters were written to churches, some letters were written to specific people, like this, his first letter to a young preacher named Timothy. Through Paul's wise words of counsel, we'll learn how to set our priorities when preaching the Gospel, and learn about what pitfalls to avoid when talking about the faith with others.
STEP 2 - REFLECT
(How does this Scripture Apply to your life?)
If you've gone through a divorce, you know how difficult it can be to pick up the pieces and move on. But it is possible. Join Brenda today as she shares some encouraging words from the Bible that helped her after her divorce.
STEP 3 - RESPOND
(How will you Win Today?)
Jesus wept – 2 words with incredible impact. Coach Sherri Kreps shares the hope and comfort we receive from the understanding heart of the Savior who keeps track of our tears and sorrows!
STEP 4 - REVEAL
(How will you reveal Jesus to others today through praying and sharing?)
What concerns are on your heart today? Join Janette for our daily prayer time as we lift these concerns up before God.
