BACK TO THE BIBLE DAILY
Ever feel exhausted in a way that sleep can’t fix? In this episode of Back to the Bible Daily, Braden Pedersen reflects on Matthew 11:28–30, exploring Jesus’ invitation to those who are weary and burdened. Discover what it means to trade your crushing yoke for Christ’s gentle rest and find true soul-deep renewal.
ADDITIONAL STEPS:
STEP 1 - RECEIVE
(Receive God's Word and Grow in Bible Knowledge)
Paul's final journey was in chains to the city of Rome. But it wasn't an easy journey. We'll learn about the shipwreck Paul endured and then learn about his final days under house arrest preaching and teaching the good news to anyone who would hear.
STEP 2 - REFLECT
(How does this Scripture Apply to your life?)
Sometimes it feels like the first word a child learns is, "mine!" It's one thing when a child snatches a toy away from another child, but when it's adults sulking about their neighbors with better stuff, it's a little disappointing. But Kelsey is here today to share some of God's wisdom from the Bible that will help you move past jealousy and learn to live in peace.
STEP 3 - RESPOND
(How will you Win Today?)
Jealousy, envy, and discontentment—the Bible warns us about these feelings, but they’re hard to overcome unless you understand the cause. Coach Donna Amidon helps us get to the root of the problem with Scripture.
The next time you feel yourself getting a little ruffled by someone else’s promotion, success, or possession—take a step back, pause, and pray, “Father, thank you for all the blessings in my life. Help me learn to be content. With you, I have everything I need.”
STEP 4 - REVEAL
(How will you reveal Jesus to others today through praying and sharing?)
As the fruit of the Spirit continues to grow in us, we need to share it with others! Gary leads our prayer time today asking God for opportunities to share His gifts with others.
