BACK TO THE BIBLEÂ DAILY
In this episode of Spiritually Fit Today, Arnie Cole and Roy Moran discuss the true meaning of the Great Commission and how making disciples starts in our everyday lives. They explore practical ways to see your daily routine as a mission field, the concept of "people of peace," and how to live out your faith authentically at work, school, and in your community.
ADDITIONAL STEPS:
STEP 1 - RECEIVE
(Receive God's Word and Grow in Bible Knowledge)
It all comes down to Jesus. As John explains as he concludes his first letter, the surest way to tell if a person is a false teacher comes down to who they believe Jesus to be. A strong understanding of Christ will also be beneficial to the believer unsure of their status in Christ.
STEP 2 - REFLECT
(How does this Scripture Apply to your life?)
The idea that we should be kind is a message we see and hear every day. It's on our pillows, our t-shirts, and even our bumpers. But what does it mean to be kind? Is it the same as being nice? Shannon is here today to share some wisdom from the Bible to set us on the right path.
STEP 3 - RESPOND
(How will you Win Today?)
Jesus was kind first so you can be kind today! Coach Faith points to the love, compassion, and kindness demonstrated by Jesus, and given to you to share with others!
Jesus was kind first so that we can be kind today. Pray that He would fill your heart with kindness. Then ask Him to lead you to someone to share His kindness with!
STEP 4 - REVEAL
(How will you reveal Jesus to others today through praying and sharing?)
It's so easy for our attention to turn to ourselves when others need our help. Join Ben today for our daily prayer time as we pray that God would give us His heart for the lost.
