BACK TO THE BIBLE DAILY
What does it mean to truly revere God? In this episode of Back to the Bible Daily, Braden Pedersen explores Isaiah 6 and the vision of God’s holiness, discussing the importance of reverence, the meaning of holiness, and how understanding God’s greatness shapes our daily lives as followers of Christ. Discover practical ways to honor God’s holiness in your everyday walk.
SPIRITUALLY FIT | TODAY
In this episode of Spiritually Fit Today, Arnie Cole and Marci Julin discuss the difficult journey of repentance after spiritual deception. Marci shares her personal story of confessing past involvement in energy medicine, the process of making amends, and how God’s grace brought restoration and new purpose to her ministry. The conversation centers on 1 John 1:9 and the power of honest confession and forgiveness.
ADDITIONAL STEPS:
STEP 1 - RECEIVE
(Receive God's Word and Grow in Bible Knowledge)
When it comes to trusting the words of the Bible, we get the best of both worlds, as Peter reminds us in his second letter. Not only do we get eyewitness accounts from some who walked with Jesus Himself, we get the Holy Spirit's own inspiration guiding the writing of Scripture. Are you reading the Bible today?
STEP 2 - REFLECT
(How does this Scripture Apply to your life?)
Do you know what it means to "overdrive" the headlights on your car? It's when you drive too fast at night so you can't stop when you see something with your headlights. Keep that example in mind as you spend a minute with Celeste as she shares the wisdom she learned from the Bible about waiting for the Lord.
STEP 3 - RESPOND
(How will you Win Today?)
It’s easy to become weary of doing good when we experience trials and see the evil that is present in the world. But, as Shannon Lenz reminds us today, persevering in faithfulness to Christ always matters, so don’t grow weary!
Let steadfastness have its full effect by asking God what He’s trying to teach you in the midst of your struggles and sufferings. Count your trials as personal growth opportunities. And, even if you are weary of doing good, find something good that you can do today to bless others and glorify God.
STEP 4 - REVEAL
(How will you reveal Jesus to others today through praying and sharing?)
Now that we've learned a bit more about Jesus, Gary leads our prayer time asking for opportunities to share that knowledge with others.
