Your Daily Spiritual Work Out - September 25
BACK TO THE BIBLE DAILY
What does it mean to truly wrestle with God? In this episode of Back to the Bible Daily, Braden Pedersen explores Jacob's extraordinary encounter with God in Genesis 32, where a physical struggle becomes a spiritual breakthrough. Rather than wrestling against God's will, Jacob refuses to let go until he receives God's blessing—and his life is transformed forever.
SPIRITUALLY FIT | TODAY
In this episode of Spiritually Fit Today, Arnie Cole and Marci Julin provide four practical questions to help you discern the truth behind health, wellness, or spiritual practices. Drawing from 1 Thessalonians 5:21-22 and Marci’s personal journey, they explore biblical discernment, the importance of testing claims, and how to approach loved ones involved in questionable practices.
ADDITIONAL STEPS:
STEP 1 - RECEIVE
(Receive God's Word and Grow in Bible Knowledge)
Unfortunately, there are those out there who want to use the Bible for personal gain. Peter reminds us of these false teachers as he continues his letter. They can be hard to spot, though, so he gives us some warning signs to look out for. We'll also be encourage to use our time wisely while waiting for the Lord's return.
STEP 2 - REFLECT
(How does this Scripture Apply to your life?)
Do you ever find yourself longing for the peaceful days of some time past? You're not the only one. If you feel like life can only get more chaotic as you go along, is there any hope for peace at all? Thankfully there is, and Kate is here to share how she is able to find peace in her life.
STEP 3 - RESPOND
(How will you Win Today?)
How can you tell if you’re in calm water, or if there’s turbulence ahead? Coach Mark Geist gives you pointers for discerning between true peace from God and confusion.
Test every situation you are in and pray for discernment. If there is peace in your situations, rest and relax in that peace that God has provided for you. If there is no peace, pray for the wisdom to know how to help bring peace to it.
STEP 4 - REVEAL
(How will you reveal Jesus to others today through praying and sharing?)
Fate is often defined as a predetermined course of events that we have no control over. It's set and unchangeable. So do you believe in fate? It's a question worth asking as Arnie explains today. Join him as we examine this question and take time to pray for God's light to shine in our lives.
