Your Daily Spiritual Work Out - September 9
BACK TO THE BIBLE DAILY
What does "Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord" really mean? In this episode of Back to the Bible Daily, Braden Pedersen explores Romans 12, challenging common misinterpretations about revenge and justice. Discover how God’s command frees us from bitterness and the burden of retaliation, inviting us to overcome evil with good and trust God’s perfect judgment.
SPIRITUALLY FIT | TODAY
What if your address is part of God’s plan? In this episode of Spiritually Fit Today, Arnie Cole, Samuel Chiang, and John Rinehimer discuss Acts 17 and how God places us in specific neighborhoods for a reason. They explore practical ways to connect with neighbors from different cultures, emphasizing listening, presence, and the importance of learning just one new name this week.
ADDITIONAL STEPS:
STEP 1 - RECEIVE
(Receive God's Word and Grow in Bible Knowledge)
As we continue in Hebrews we'll cover a rich passage of the Bible with two of the most important truths for us to know. The Bible is God's Word and is a powerful resource in our lives. And Jesus, far from being a distant and aloof God, lived as a man and can sympathize with us in all our weaknesses. Praise God with us as we study some more.
STEP 2 - REFLECT
(How does this Scripture Apply to your life?)
Sometimes the difference between a terrible journey and an amazing adventure is the presence of a good and knowledgeable guide. Anna is here today to point out how life can be like that. When we invite God along on our journey, we can always be confident that whatever happens, we'll come through on top.
STEP 3 - RESPOND
(How will you Win Today?)
When life starts crowding you, how do you keep it together and sort things out? Spiritual Fitness Coach Gary Dunker points to Jesus to show what it takes to recharge and reprioritize by having a conversation with One who knows your needs.
Find time today to be alone with God just as Jesus did—withdraw to a quiet place and pray. Even five minutes is a good starting point. Just start. You can do it!
STEP 4 - REVEAL
(How will you reveal Jesus to others today through praying and sharing?)
As recipients of God's grace, we experience the love and grace of God in ways that others don't. Mark leads our prayer time today asking for chances to reflect the love of God in our interactions with our friends and family.
