STEP 1 - RECEIVE
(Receive God's Word and Grow in Bible Knowledge)
The phrase "born again" is something we often hear from many sources, but do you know where it began? Today we'll look at Jesus' words to Nicodemus and find out what He meant when He said we should be born again.
STEP 2 - REFLECT
(How does this Scripture Apply to your life?)
When reading stories from the Bible, it's easy to overlook that we're often reading about many years of someone's life in just a few minutes. Why is this important? Ben is here today to examine a time in Joseph's life when patience and waiting on God's timing was critical, and to encourage you to be patient if God seems to be moving a bit slow in your own life.
STEP 3 - RESPOND
(How will you Win Today?)
Some of our most important lessons from God are learned while ... waiting. Shannon explains that having patience for the big things requires our attention for the little things as well!
When you have to wait—for your food, for the elevator, or when you get stuck in traffic -- take a deep breath, pray, and ask God to help you develop patience in the little things, so you can learn to be patient in the big, important things
STEP 4 - REVEAL
(How will you reveal Jesus to others today through praying and sharing?)
In a world growing more and more ignorant of, or even hostile to, the God of the Bible, how are we as Christians to respond? That's the question Arnie asks today as he leads our time of prayer asking God for wisdom and motivation to stand up for the cross.
