Day 1  RECEIVE   Luke 13:22-24     22 Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as he went, always pressing on toward Jerusalem. 23 Someone asked him, “Lord, will only a few be saved?” He replied, 24 “Work hard to enter the narrow door to God’s Kingdom, for many will try to enter but will fail.”     Jesus was on His way to Jerusalem. This would be His last trip there because He would give His life there for lost mankind. He was asked if only a few would be saved.

Day 1  RECEIVE   Luke 14:15     15 Hearing this, a man sitting at the table with Jesus exclaimed, “What a blessing it will be to attend a banquet in the Kingdom of God!”     Jesus had told about being willing to invite the undeserving to a meal. It is a reminder that all people are undeserving of what Jesus did for them when He died on the cross to pay the penalty for their sin.
